As a small note, just remember that not any image size can be used for wallpapers. Make sure when you download an image, that the resolution of the image is compatible with your screen resolution settings. If the image is too small, then windows will stretch the image to fit your desktop.

So, if your desktop background looks weirdly distorted, or the image looks blurred and out of focus, know that the resolution for this image isn't right for your screen. The reason the image looks distorted or blurred is that every image you can find, is made up out of a certain amount of pixels.

Pixels are the little color dots that makes up a picture. Let’s say you have a square of 2”x2” with 1000 dots inside it, if you stretch this square to be 10”x10”, then the amount of dots (1000) still remains the same, but the surface area are larger. This will result in blurring or distorting of the image.
